The Bits & Pieces Sound Effects library began in 1986 while Simon Kahn was working as a Sound Designer at the National Theatre London, with directors such as Sir Peter Hall and Anthony Page. The first CD was released in 1993 and 16 CD's are now available. All tracks are digitally recorded in M-S stereo (although they appear on the disc in conventional L-R format) and as well as the usual 'spot' effects, long backgrounds, up to 8 minutes, are included which is especially useful for drama productions (or to allow users to select different portions for different projects!).
The CD's are distributed by Canford Audio, Europe's leading pro-audio manufacturer/distributor.
